FAQ

Straight answers to the questions leaders ask.

How long does migration take?

Most independent schools go live in six to eight weeks. All data is migrated before training begins, and a dedicated consultant manages the transition through the first full month of live running.

Are we locked into a long contract?

No. Ed-admin offers annual agreements. A school that wants to leave should be able to; a school that stays should stay because the system earns it.

Is the parent app an extra cost?

No. There is one app, with dedicated portals for parents, staff, students and alumni, all part of the platform, not separate licences and not integrations to maintain.

What does it cost?

Pricing is scoped to your school's size, every module and app is included in one fixed fee, with discounts for NGOs and low-fee schools. Peterhouse's annual cost came in at less than half of their previous system. A short walkthrough is the fastest route to an accurate figure for your school.

Can staff work from home?

Yes. Ed-admin is browser-based and cloud-hosted: no server room, no VPN, and no dependency on the one person who knows where the server is.

How secure is our data?

Role-based access on every record, audit logging on sensitive changes, and cloud hosting with continuous backup, built for the data-protection obligations independent schools carry.
