WHAT TYPE OF INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
- Our business does not target children as customers so we do not knowingly collect personal data of children.
- When purchasing our products we collect and store your payment details.
- When educational institutions use our professional services via our portals or Edana mobile application, we process different categories of personal data for the purpose of accessing those data in order to be able to provide technical support and ensure the security of data. However, users of these products should refer to the privacy notice published on that specific portal/app.
WHY DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND WHAT ARE THE LEGAL GROUNDS FOR IT?
WHERE IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA STORED?
We are based in Australia and South Africa. If you are an EU resident or you reside within the EEA, you should note that your personal data will not be transferred outside the EU, but still, it might be accessed by our employees or contractors located in Australia or South Africa. In case we need to transfer data to third parties located outside the EEA we will always use standard contractual clauses or we may rely on other measures such as the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Frameworks.
PERSONAL DATA RETENTION:
We will retain personal information that we have collected and process for as long as needed to provide our service to our customers or as required or permitted under the applicable law.
